Great Smokies Scavenger Hunt

On the weekend of March 21st & 22nd, the Great Smoky Mountains Institute at Tremont will host its annual scavenger hunt. This hunt will go all over the park - using normally accessible trails and roads - while participants photograph or research answers to questions.

The particulars:

• Teams must fit into one vehicle (up to 12 members)
• A digital camera with a clear memory card is required
• Questions will be assigned point values according to difficulty
• Questions will be emailed by 3:30 pm Friday, March 21st
• Teams are due at Tremont by 4:30 pm Saturday, March 22nd
• Registration fee is $50 per team
• Proceeds benefit the Tremont scholarship fund
